Opera

One of the reasons that many find opera very fascinating is that

everything around it is greater than life: the story, the music, the

personalities of the singers, the opera house in and of itself.

In Copenhagen, we have an opportunity to enjoy the new Opera in

Holmen, being one of the world’s most modern opera houses with an

exciting future. And we are able to enjoy opera in the Royal Theatre, a

house with a long tradition and history.

The Royal Opera ensemble feel at home in both houses, and many of the

worlds’ renowned singers often appear on both stages.
